Ripley County Sheriff’s Report

On Jan. 22 at 10 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Ripley Route H for a domestic assault complaint. The suspect left the scene before officer arrival, and the victim did not want to press charges.

On Jan. 23 Robert Fuller, 36, of Doniphan was arrested at this residence on Ripley 142E-20A. Fuller was booked in on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Ripley County Jail.

On Jan. 23 at 6:15 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a third-party complaint of animal neglect at a residence on 160W in Doniphan. At the time of the report, deputies were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.

On Jan. 23 at 10:30 p.m. Jesse Moore, 30, of Doniphan was arrested at a residence on Ripley 160E-10 in Doniphan. Moore was booked in on Ripley County warrants for stealing ($20,000 cash only bond) and receiving stolen property ($20,000 cash only bond) and he was lodged in the Ripley County Jail.

On Jan. 27 deputies responded to a residence on JJ Hwy. for a property dispute between neighbors.

On Jan. 28 at 1 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report that a truck was stolen from a property on Ripley 142E in Naylor.

On Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. Benjamin Proffitt, 43, of Doniphan was arrested on Ripley 142E-32 in Doniphan. Proffitt was booked in on Boone County warrants for violation of a protection order ($11,000 bond) and he was lodged in the Ripley County Jail.

On Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report that a trailer, two trucks, and copper wire were stolen from a property on Ripley 142E-20D in Doniphan.

On Jan. 28 at 11 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on River Otter Lane in Doniphan for a domestic assault complaint. An adult male reported an adult female struck him in the mouth during an argument. The suspect left the scene before officer arrival, and the victim refused to press charges.

On Jan. 28 at 11:55 p.m., Lashaun Jennings, 54, of Illinois, was arrested during a traffic stop on Hwy. 160E in Doniphan. Jennings was booked in on a Pike County warrant for failure to appear and she was released on bond.

On Jan. 29 at 12:30 p.m., James Campbell, 50, of Fairdealing and Cindy Airsman, 63, of Fairdealing were arrested at their residence. Both were booked in on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and they were released pending further investigation.

On Jan. 30 the sheriff’s office received a complaint that two revolvers were stolen from a residence on 160W in Doniphan. The victim did not know when the weapons were taken.
