On Feb. 18 at 3 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Highway 160 West in Doniphan for a dispute between neighbors.

On Feb. 20 deputies responded with EMS to a medical assist at a residence on Oyster Street in Naylor. A firefighter was bitten by a dog as he rendered aid to an adult male suffering a medical emergency. The firefighter was transported by ambulance for treatment of his injury.

On Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Ripley A-2 in Doniphan for a report of a domestic disturbance with shots fired. The victim identified the suspect as his girlfriend, and said she left before he called the Sheriff’s Office. No injury was reported and the victim did not want to press charges. The suspect was later contacted and she provided a statement about the incident.

On Feb. 21 deputies responded to a residence on Highway 160 West in Doniphan for a harassment complaint. After speaking with both parties the matter was referred to the prosecutor’s office.

On Feb. 21 the sheriff’s office received a complaint that two firearms were missing from a residence on Painted Turtle Lane in Doniphan.

On Feb. 22 deputies responded to a residence on NW Front Street in Naylor for a property damage complaint. The victim reported someone spinning their tires in the roadway threw rocks and damaged a window and siding on their residence.

On Feb. 22 deputies responded to a residence on Silver Minnow Lane for a report of a child bitten by a dog. The dog was euthanized prior to officer arrival.

On Feb. 22 the sheriff’s office received a theft complaint. The victims reported that a friend took $412 cash from them under false pretenses. The investigation continues.

On Feb. 23 deputies received a complaint that weapons were flourished during an argument at a residence on 160 West in Doniphan. One of the involved parties left the scene before the sheriff’s office was called. No injury was reported, and each party said the other flourished a weapon. The investigation continues.

On Feb. 23 deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Ripley A-6 in Doniphan. According to the victim, the suspect damaged property inside her residence and assaulted her and her brother before fleeing the scene. This was referred to the prosecutor’s office.
