The Ripley County Public Health Center board met Feb. 25.
Members Present: Sheila Featherston, Dorothy Walker, Mark Thompson, Sherrie Newman and Tammy Cosgrove.
Members Absent: Janet Arnold.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
The warrants were signed and work report was given.
Old Business:
COVID 19 Update: There have been 57 total cases in 2025 as of Feb. 11. Total cases to date 3,794.
Contract Updates: All contract payments for January have been received. February payments are being approved.
Flu update: We had 98 cases of Flu A in January. Numbers have gone down in February.
New Business:
Environmental Monthly Report: Tammy Cosgrove presented the board with the environmental health report prepared by Jennifer Miller. The board reviewed the report.
Staff Trainings: In March, Tammy Cosgrove and Felicia Jones are going to Jefferson City for a spring planner’s training. Tammy Cosgrove and Jennifer Miller are going to Springfield, in April for Jennifer Miller to take the test to become state certified and Tammy Cosgrove has training in Springfield in April for leadership training. Tammy Cosgrove will travel with Jennifer Miller.
Other:
The next board meeting will be held Tuesday, March 25 at 4:30 p.m.
