We in the communities of Lone Star School and Gatewood School are very proud.

Several students participated in the Beta contest and came home with many awards. If you know any of these students in the Beta Club make sure you tell them how proud you are of them and congratulate them for their hard work and the wonderful job, they did at Beta convention in Branson. All of the students need to know you are proud of what they have accomplished. You who go to Lone Star and Gatewood Beta Clubs, we are all very proud of you.

Our Out West community has lost several people the past couple of weeks. We, as a community would like to send all our prayer and love to the families of Bruce Brandon, Doris Gibson, and Thomas West. We pray the Lord gives you strength for the days ahead and holds you tight in mercy and love.

I will be doing birthdays and anniversaries a little differently since we are limited to how many words we may put in our columns. Birthdays and anniversaries for the week of Feb. 1 - 7; Brandon, Billy Raderstorf, Aden Hudson, Colton Cochran, Rachel Leroux, Abby Cannon, and Leigh Ann and Tim Collin. May the Lord bless you with a very special day of wonderful memories.

Bunco for February will be on the 27th at 6 p.m., at the Ponder Community Center on Highway 142 West going toward Gatewood. Bring a snack, finger food or a covered dish and come on out and enjoy the fellowship and fun of Bunco.

Lord, give strength to those who need you to hold them up, heal those who need You to touch them with Your healing. Remember God loves you and so do I.
