The Doniphan Donettes softball team has been honored by the Missouri High School Fastpitch Coaches Association for their academic excellence, with the entire varsity team maintaining a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

The Doniphan Donettes softball team has been recognized for outstanding academic achievements by the Missouri High School Fastpitch Coaches Association (MHSFCA).

The entire varsity team met the criteria of maintaining a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.3 or higher, with several players achieving the prestigious Academic All-State status, by maintaining a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.87 or higher.

Coach Brad Hagood said, “I am very proud of these young ladies and the team for excelling in academics.”

Freshmen Brilee Boles, MacKay Jackson, and Paysley Klepzig, along with sophomores Kenzee Davis and Kenna Kirby, are receiving the honor for their second year. Juniors Audrey Watson, first year and Tara Davis for the third year, were honored for their academic excellence as well.

The Academic All-State award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of these student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.

This achievement highlights the commitment of the Donettes to balancing their academic responsibilities with their passion for softball.
