Beta Sigma Xi Sorority has long been committed to promoting mental health and wellness. The sorority’s efforts extend beyond fundraising, as they actively engage in community service initiatives.

Notably, they have supported local organizations such as Lean On Me, New Life Ministries, Current River Nursing Home, Backpacks For Friday and showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact in the community.

The sorority is led by President Crystal (Christy) Moore, with Vice President Diana Bland, Recording Secretary Annisa White, Treasurer Trish Klepzig, and Corresponding Secretary Teresa Klepzig playing pivotal roles. Membership is exclusive, requiring an affirmative vote by current chapter members.

This selective process ensures that the sorority remains a close-knit group dedicated to its core values.

Moore said, “All of the fundraising is done at the Ripley County Fair; making and selling funnel cakes.”
