Deputy Travis Pulliam is stationed at Naylor R-II to enhance campus safety as students board buses. Superintendent Stacey Roach appreciates the sheriff's department's efforts to promote safe driving and reduce distractions.

Above, Ripley County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Pulliam, in an effort to maintain campus safety, can be seen watching as students board buses at Naylor R-II. Naylor R-II Superintendent Stacey Roach expressed her appreciation to the sheriff’s department for taking the initiative to provide this service. “An officer also comes regularly during drop off of our students by buses and parents in the mornings.  We hope their presence will encourage people to slow down in our school zones and not be distracted with phones or other devices during these especially busy times.  Also, it is our hope it will encourage student drivers to wear their seat belts more consistently and exercise more caution when arriving or departing,” stated Roach.
