Starting back up this Sunday night is Kids blast at West Point. This is open to any child and parents are encouraged to join along. Beginning at 5 p.m. everyone will gather in the gymnasium to have some food and mingle. At 6 p.m. everyone will go over to the main sanctuary in the church and have a small service. Then classes will be held to encourage the children and teach them about Jesus. This is every Sunday night and we welcome everyone...

We’re so excited to introduce a new resource directly for our county. I joke and tell people I’ve been “wingin’ it” with food, diapers and wipes. We now have a building to operate from. We’re located at 101 Walnut Street directly in between Bill’s Clean Up shop and the old funeral home. We are a non-profit and will offer a once a month food distribution, diapers and wipes (upon availability) to Ripley County...

Most have been anticipating when we would all be able to join together in service and the time is here. This Sunday, May 10 (also Mother’s Day) West Point will be reuniting for a wonderful time together in Jesus. Services begin at 10 a.m. and we welcome everyone to come. Every Kid Counts Back2School Clothing & Food Drive Saturday, Aug. 3 at West Point Gymnasium from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. we will be hosting a free county-wide clothing/food drive. We desperately need your help! We are needing gently used/new clothing and shoes, all sizes. Only accepting new undergarments and socks, all sizes as well. Our donations have been down this year and we are praying that we can accumulate enough to provide all the children of Ripley County with some new outfits...

Here we are again, a year has flown by! We are gearing up for the Second Annual Unity for Our Community Doniphan City Clean Up. Clean up is scheduled for Saturday, May 4. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and clean up from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. we will gather at Doniphan First Church of God, Pastor Larry Earl and Zella have opened their church up to us once again. After the clean up we will gather back at the church for a free lunch provided by all of our awesome donors...

I promised all the readers that I would announce when our bundle of joy arrived so I am keeping my word. Charity Ruby Grace McCabe born Feb. 20, 2019 at 12:51 p.m. weighing in at 5 lbs. 15 oz. and 19-1/2 inches long. Our little precious baby girl has finally arrived and we waited it out 41 weeks and 3 days. I can say that my life has completely changed, she has brought a lot of joy into our hearts and we are thankful to God for her...
