Prepping For Naylor Heritage Day (9/25/19)I’m sorry to have to write that we have lost another one of our good men. Yes, Ed Crumley passed away on Sept. 12 at his home. He and his wife, Willene, have been active in Naylor until his health began to fail. That makes seven since Aug. 31, Wayne Armour, David Kimbrough, Short Deckard, a three-year-old little girl, Terrel Griffin, David Guthrie and now Ed Crumley. He was 87. An Update From Naylor (7/10/19)Sue Day, Hazel Slusher, Kenny and Teresa Day recently attended the wedding of Daniel Scott and Tina Radke in Rockton, Ill. Tina is the granddaughter of the late Bonnie Walker. Tina’s aunt Janet Walker and her family also attended. The ceremony was held outside on the Scott farm. The Latest Naylor Happenings (6/12/19)On May 31, Sandy Stout and daughter Bobbi Mayse went to Colorado to Sandy’s daughter, Carri Emery’s home to get their son, Issac Emery and bring him to Naylor for a visit. While there, Jessie and Carri took them to Estes Park for a day, then on Monday, June 3, they returned home. On the fourth, we all celebrated Issac’s Aunt Bobbi’s birthday. Issac plans to stay until the 12th but this is his first time to be away from his parents so it may be sooner than they planned...

Naylor's Restaurant Closes (5/14/19)Our restaurant here in Naylor, “Becca’s Restaurant”, closed May 3. The senior center and Naylor One Stop serve lunch but a restaurant in town is really needed and people to support it. Now, that’s my opinion! I really goofed in last week’s news.
