A kid’s play day will take place Saturday, June 29, at the Rocky River Resort pavilion, and parents who bought chances for the Toys 4 Tots raffle of a Bad Boy mower, a Browning rifle and a queen-sized quilt, will want to stick around and find out who the winners are.

Toys 4 Tots Coordinator Jerry Lynxwiler is partnering with several local businesses to host the family activity, which will include a water slide and bounce houses.

Children ages 0-5 years old will “pick a duck” for money and prizes. Kids age 6-12 will be entered into a drawing for one of six new youth kayaks.

The fun will start at 9 a.m., and the drawings will take place at 1 p.m.

First prize in the main drawing is a 54-inch cut zero-turn Bad Boy mower. Second prize is a Browning X-bolt 6.5 Creedmoor rifle with scope, and third prize is a queen-sized quilt made by Jana’s Quilts of Jonesboro, Ark., which features a digital photo of the Ripley County Courthouse.

Tickets are available for $20 each or 6 for $100. Contact Lynxwiler at 573-429-6270 to enter.

Proceeds from the raffle are used to purchase toys for the annual Toys 4 Tots Christmas giveaway and to provide coats and school supplies for children in Ripley County.
