Show Your ‘Small Town Pride’ Labor Day Homecoming Parade Sept. 3
Ripley County’s annual Labor Day Homecoming parade will be held on Saturday, Sept 3.
This year’s parade is being sponsored by Ripley County Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber members have decided on the theme “Small Town Pride” featuring red, white, and blue colors.
If you would like to enter the parade, you can pick up an entry form from the Current River Heritage Museum.
Perspective contestant participants are required to pay $20 for their floats to be judged, there is one winner per division.
The parade is free to enter for those who do not wish to be a part of the competition.
The deadline to enter is Thursday, Sept. 1.
The parade lineup will start at 9 a.m. along West Highway Street.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and follow the traditional route from Walnut Street to the Courthouse Square.
