On Sept. 23., Rev. Will Barnett was installed as the pastor of Sovereign Grace Reformed Church in Doniphan. He and his wife, Hannah, are the parents of two boys, Henry and Judson. They are from the Puxico and Bernie areas and are excited and thankful to be back serving in Southeast Missouri. Previously, Rev. Will pastored a Southern Baptist Church in Arizona.
When asked who has been most instrumental in impacting his life and thinking, Pastor Will points to R.C. Sproul. Concerning his ministry in Ripley County, he says, “My desire as pastor of SGRC is simply to see every member continue to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and to see the church minister the gospel to our neighbors in Doniphan and the surrounding area.
The church has been blessed to have had a faithful pastor these last 14 years in Rev. Kent Harding. My goal, by God’s grace alone, is to follow along that same path to the glory of the Lord.”
Sovereign Grace is part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. The OPC is a very conservative and gospel oriented denomination. We are a loving congregation that celebrates the good news of our marvelous triune God. Sovereign Grace Reformed Church is located on the courthouse square in Doniphan, and everyone is welcome!
