Glenn Alan Cox, 62 of Cotter, Ark., left this world July 19, 2024.

Glenn was born, Oct. 11, 1961, in Wilmington, Del., to Aubrey Johnson Cox and Audrey Mae (Baughn) Cox, who loved him dearly. As a child, he was baptized into the Christian faith.

Glenn was married to Virginia “Ginny” Cox on Sept. 10, 2013, in Cotter. He loved children, but had none of his own. Glenn and Ginny were parents to their “fur-baby,” Crispin.

Glenn graduated from the University of Delaware. He was an experienced auto mechanic and IT specialist. He had worked at Cox Auto Sales in Delaware as a mechanic.

Glenn loved playing the guitar, fishing in the ocean and near his home on the White River. In his younger years he enjoyed motocross, muscle cars, and aggravating his nieces and nephews.

Glenn will always be remembered for his charming smile and gentle soul. His memory will live in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Ginny, her children, Salena (Tony) Bekoff and grandson Kieran, of San Antonio, Texas and John Streets, Avery and Jack, grandchildren, of Great Falls, Mont., one brother, Doyle (Jamie) Cox of Hockessin, Del., two sisters, Carol Cox of Hockessin and Donna (Kirk) Brady of Currentview, many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Pope’s Chapel Cemetery in Ripley County. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Pope’s Chapel Cemetery Fund at 6465 Ripley Route E, Doniphan, Mo. 63935.
