Editor,

I would like to applaud the efforts of the Mabrey Park Association under the direction of Randy Cates. I am amazed and grateful for the positive transformation that has taken place at Mabrey Park.

I’m thankful that families can swim and picnic and just cool off in the river so close to home. It was just plain hard work for the folks to take the initiative and do this!
