I pray that everyone was safe during the severe weather that we have had the last couple of weeks. I think we have had enough of the rain and storms for awhile. Looking forward to several days of nicer weather. Can I say I am so ready for spring to come and stay? May we keep all in prayers that have lost loved ones and their homes during the tornadoes over the last few weeks. Lord, give them strength to get through the days ahead. May we keep them all in our prayers.
Bunco for April is on the 27th at 6 p.m. at the Ponder Community Center on 142 West toward Gatewood. Bring a snack, finger food, or a covered dish. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship and fun of playing Bunco.
Mary Van Dyke has been down visiting with her daughter, Pam and Dale Bridges, from St. Louis. Returning home on April 8. Her daughters, Kim Kizer and Linda Crow, came down to pick up their mom and return home. Also, a big thank tou to Kim Kizer for the rugs that she brought down to me. I really appreciate it a lot and something I could really use.
I want to say a big “thank you,” to Steve Dusza for bringing out a load of gravel and taking the time to get it spread. It is nice to be able to park my car not in a mud hole. Also, my mail carrier, Frances, said it is a lot easier to drive on the road in front of my house. Again “thank you, Steve”. Later I will hope to get another load to work on more of my yard.
