This was the second Sunday fundraiser at the nutrition center in Van Buren. I went early to grocery shop before church. Across HH, 34, to 60. Had a good dinner to bring home, which is always appreciated. Got grape salad and David’s peach cobbler. Visited with several, which is always appreciated. Lena got my food and later helped me to the car, still smiling. We had our hug, of course...

Had a good dinner to bring home, which is always appreciated. Got grape salad and David’s peach cobbler. Visited with several, which is always appreciated. Lena got my food and later helped me to the car, still smiling. We had our hug, of course.

I got home, unloaded groceries, parked the car, brought groceries in, made calls to say, “I’m home,” then had to sit. Bill and Andrea came later, put some stuff away, filled bird feeders and visited.

Think everyone enjoyed the sunny days. Some were a bit breezy and cool. With low streams nationwide we need rain. Nobody wants floods which do little good and usually cause damage and often death.

Debi Reynolds stopped by to give me stuff. She has been working long hours and some weekends but is getting settled into her new job.

Still sickness. Seems so many have allergies, sinus and still some mystery illness. Folks aren’t feeling good but tests don’t show why.

Feel better thoughts to all. Sympathy to those who lost family and friends.

Viola Crites called Sunday evening. I’d asked for information earlier and she called with the answer. I always enjoy our visits.
