Marie Cooper had a surprise 90th birthday party Dec. 11 at 20 Nobel Street (the former nutrition center.) There were 74 in attendance. She had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. Her birthday is Dec. 12.
Marie was one of the faithful helpers when it was volunteer helpers. She and I had good times working together.
It is a beautiful Monday morning. Kind of cool but, forecast is for very cold and possible snow.
Still sickness. I know three successful surgeries. For some recovery is ahead, others are pretty much recovered.
I was hoping we’d have music on Tuesday but when it was so cloudy I was super glad we would not have to be out.
The quilters quilted on Tuesday. They invite others to join them. Younger people need to learn this craft for future generations.
Sympathy to those who lost family and friends. Know I care about those who are sick too.
Another time the news just is scarce. Hope it’s been a good week for all. Viola Crites and I connect for a visit usually by phone. It’s always enjoyable, often a laugh or two.
