You know the old saying, “if it wasn’t for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.”

On Friday, my computer did a nose dive. I lost everything on my computer. I finally got it going, but it went back to the setting that was the first day I bought it in 2016. I have been trying to find someone who would come to my house and see if they can bring some of my stuff back. Worse part is I lost all my pictures. I am trying to learn to work on a laptop. I have worked on computers since 1971. I learned how to use an IBM 2260 computer when I worked in St. Louis. Let me tell you computers sure have come a long way since that computer.

Everyone is trying to get prepared for snow and cold temps that will be in the low and negative numbers. I don’t like cold temps at all. I would be happy if they were in the upper 50’s. I think at least I have all my running around done and will be staying home until after Christmas. Hopefully my family will be able to get together on Jan. 7.

I had to open a new Facebook account, so if we were friends and you want to continue, please contact on Facebook at Sharon Hastings. I have so enjoyed all the Christmas cards that I have received. Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year.

As we start the new year, why not make your New Year’s Resolution, to get back in church. They say what you do on the first day of the new year will be what you do for the whole year. Since Jan. 1 falls on a Sunday, what better way to start the new year off right and be in church.

I am having a really hard time adjusting to using this laptop. So, I guess I will end here for this week. Lord’s blessing on everyone and hope the Lord blessed you this Christmas. Christmas is a time for great and wonderful blessings. Remember God loves you and so do I. Amen
