Our apologies for the lack of news for the last week or so due to circumstances beyond the author’s control. The author has had some health issues but hopes to continue writing as she is able.

The past couple of weeks we have had good attendance at our Sunday morning services with a few visitors now and then. Among those were Jeff Adair, who was here visiting his mother for a few days over the first weekend of deer season. Jeff, it is always good to have you with us. Also, Jerald Steele was here visiting from Illinois and Cheryl and Dillion, a niece and great-nephew of Gary & Shooki Hilton.

A few members of our congregation celebrated the birthday of Billy Sisco, last Friday evening after our regular Bible study. Billy is a very vital part of our congregation and we really do appreciate her and all she does for the church.

Ervin Sisco of Gladstone, Mo. was also here during the deer season week visiting and hunting in the community. We look forward to when he is able to be with us more.

Friday, Dec. 2 will be the date of the next monthly singing held at Handy Church. The service starts as usual at 7 p.m., and we encourage everyone to come out and join us at this time.
