I know we always have lots of rain in April. I am just wondering if we may need to purchase boats to get around. At least we can save on the gas needed for the boats. Save even  more if we use oars. Sometimes you just have to take everything with a little smile and a grain of salt. The rain will be greatly needed more once gardens get put in and then wishing it was raining...

On April 9, Faith Life Christian Church, had their Easter egg hunt and pizza party. Loved watching the children gather eggs and the fellowship of the pizza party. Afterwards, my son Mark and Heather Hudson and grandson Cooper visited from Advance. I very much enjoyed my time with them. I love all  the time I get with my children and my grandchildren. Makes my heart explode with joy and happiness.

On Sunday, April 10, after morning service I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Patsy’s with Candy Martin. It had been a really long time since I had ate out somewhere you didn’t drive thru to get your food. While there I visited a little with Carolyn Wilds, saw several other that I knew and had not seen in several years. Last weekend was a great weekend.

Bunco for April will be on the 28th at 6 p.m. at Ponder Community Center. Come join the fellowship and fun of Bunco. Also, bring a snack, finger food or a covered dish.

Lord, I pray that you keep all, in your mighty hands, heal those who are in need of your healing touch, give strength to those in need. Watch over children. Remember God loves you and so do I. Amen
