Debi Reynolds and her granddaughter, Allie Whitaker, went to watch Wyatt Downs play in a high school baseball tournament at Stockton, Mo. Stockton Tigers won first place. On Saturday Kyle, Dijana, Eliana and Ella Whitaker came from Ellsinore to watch the games. After the game they all went to the Downs home. Dustin grilled burgers and they all enjoyed being together enjoying the pretty weather. The bigger children played catch. The two little girls played with and fed Cassie’s free range chickens. They all had a great visit.
I have a different feature. My arrow floats I don’t always see that it has and my sentence isn’t worded like I meant it to be. I never had this happen before. I don’t know how the print gets into capitals and pressing lock doesn’t solve the problem; Tonya Hampton showed me how to get it out of capitals. Always appreciate knowing these things.
Tonya and Marty Hampton brought me some “needs” and did some tall chores for me. Marty even needed a stepstool for one. He knows where it is and just got it, put it back.
I like Barbara Rogers quotes. Especially the one about the tree. Sam and I set lots of pine and cedar seedlings...trees about a foot tall. On New Year’s day we went around to his other acreages to see how last year’s crop was doing. I can’t do that any more. He sold two properties and gates were put up with locks on them. One property I sold but I can see some of our plantings as I pass on the highway.
I like Barbara’s comment on saying thank you. I think it’s a forgotton expression or never taught. I do appreciate getting my meals delivered. I may not be house bound but I am a senior and I eat and I pay for my meals. I’ve gotten takeout other places and it’s always over $6 and sometimes just at $7 with no drink or dessert.
I’d still like the churches of the county to give $25 a month or $300 a year, individuals could do this. Just think how it would help the center help others. Everyone knows everything is higher week to week.
