As we prepare for winter weather for the next few days. I think I would rather have snow and not ice. I also pray that people slow down and not fly through all of the rain, ice or snow. You know it is better to leave a little earlier and watch the speed. You may not think about yourself but please think about others on the roads.
Prayers are for the family of Joe Hollomon. To Elaine and their children and grandchildren we pray for strength for the days ahead. Joe always would say Hi and seem to always have a smile for those he met. Prayers and our love, know we are here for you if you need us.
It will soon be Valentine’s Day, hope it will be better than the news of six more weeks of winter, but we already knew that would happen. Guys try not to wait until the last minute to get your sweetheart those boxes of candy and flowers. With all that has been going on the past couple of years, plan something very special. Even if it is just a date night and you can plan something really awesome for date night at home. Good luck, ladies, you can plan something special for him also.
Bunco will be on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Ponder Community Center on 142 W. Don’t forget to bring a snack, covered dish or some type of finger food. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship.
I have been pretty sick with an sinus infection for about a week. Finally got an appointment with the doctor. He gave me a prescription, so I pray I will be back to normal soon. Then again I have never been normal. LOL
Lord Jesus, please keep all in your mighty hand and protection. Lord may we all see the need to be back in church again and trust in your love and powers. Remember God loves you and so do I. Amen
