On Friday, July 3, I had an awesome and wonderful birthday. My son Matt and Ashley Hudson, grandchildren Hunter, Adysyn, Aden and Harley came out and mowed the yard. It looks so good, thank you so much Matt for mowing it. Also my son Mark and Heather Hudson and grandson Cooper, Janet Portwood and Denny all came out to celebrate my birthday with a barbecue and a beautiful birthday cake...

As usual I fixed more food than was needed. I have always cooked big meals and it is still hard to cut down on what I fix. Also on Thursday I went to the Bluff to see my cardiovascular doctor. Ashley Hudson went with me and we had a good time, went and bought me a new recliner. I love how it sits. So on Friday Matt brought it out and put it in my living room. I was also blessed not only being with my family but also over 200 birthday wishes on Facebook. This was the best birthday ever. Thank you for making my last year to say I am in my 60’s a great kick off for the year. Next year I will be saying I am in my 70’s LOL.

With deepest and sincere sympathy to the family of Aaron Howard, to his wife Janet and children, sister Hermenna Robertson and family. Prayers and love, may it bring you gentle comfort to know that others deeply care and share in your sorrow.

Deepest and sincere sympathy to the family of BJ Sisco, to his wife Kelly, and family, to Mike and Kim Sisco and all their family and friends, may there be comfort in the days ahead and all the Lord’s blessings to both families. Lord please give both of these families the comfort that they need and strength in the days ahead. Amen

Bunco will be at the Ponder Community Center on July 30 at 6 p.m. Bring a snack, covered dish, or finger food with you. Come on out and enjoy the fellowship and have fun playing Bunco.

I would just like to say please check on the elderly if you have neighbors around you. They don’t always make sure to take care in the heat like they should. Temperatures are going to start getting higher, so please drink lots of water. If you have children make sure they drink lots of water. Stay safe, keep your distance when needed, and take care of each other. May the Lord hold you in His arms, may His healing, heal your needs. Remember to praise Him from the little to the big things in your life. God loves you and so do I. Amen
