A December promise for January fulfillment fell through which leaves me feeling like the airplane that flew too low over the cowshed and left me holding the bag. Not pleasant.
Bill Riggins drove to Springfield to visit his sisters, Mary, Beverly, Beth and nephew Billy Joe Kee. Some ate out including Larry Archer. It was a good trip and enjoyable visit.
The weather has been a mix of sun, rain, cold and clouds, hope nobody had flood damage. I know some were home-bound because of high water and health issues. Feel better folks. I care.
I got a call Monday “it’s snowing in Dexter” and I just stayed home. Later it was snowing here. It was on grass and roofs but, not enough for snow cream.
Dexter had no school Monday. Matt and Ann Glore took her nephew Tristan Brown to St. Lois for a wrestling tournament. Tristan won first place. The Dexter boys won first, second and third place in the tournament. Michael Glore traveled with his parents. Tristan is a former Ellsinore boy. His mother is Shanea Brown.
