Monday was a trip to Van Buren to get medicine refilled, a few groceries, leave my Current Local news, get my chicken salad sandwich and home.
Tuesday was the ARMSE meeting at Pizza Americana, Willow Springs. The crowd was small, some were sick, some were hunting and no update was given. Our speaker was Mary Beth Facher, education consultant, MDC - Ozark Region, West Plains Division. Her talk was very informative and interesting on the brown bear. She had a slide presentation, hand outs and personal comments. Some laughter at the antics of the bears. Information on habitat. Their region and habits. There were paw prints, a skin, skull to handle if desired. There were questions and comments. She joined us for lunch and visiting while we ate. An applause was given following her presentation. Rob Rakestraw presided because B.J. Cash was hunting. Door prizes were candy Easter bunnies. Everyone who wanted on got one. Rob gave the blessing and called for further business none to be discussed. Helen Birdsong made motion, seconded by Bill Easley, carried by all.
Coming home I visited Trudi Reed at the Birch Tree Shop and Repair. We visited, she fixed my purse strap. She had moved the evening before and had family visitors from Iowa recently which were enjoyed. It’s always an enjoyable time with Trudi.
Again, feel better wishes to those ailing and sympathy to hose who lost loved ones and friends. Know I care.
