The Prospect-News 150 Anniversary Picnic Celebration

On Wednesday, June 19 the Prospect-News celebrated it's 150th anniversary with a picnic in Heritage Park. The PN was recognized by State of Missouri for the occasion by being presented a Declaration signed by Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe and a Resolution by State Senator Jason Bean, who presented both. Resolution stated, now,therefore, be it resolved that we, the members of the Missouri Senate. 102nd General Assembly, join to applaud the history, goals, and accomplishments associated with The Prospect-News and to convey all of those involved this legislative body's most heartfelt best wishes as they celebrate the 150th anniversary of the newspaper's establishment and be it further resolved that the Secretary of the Senate be instructed to prepare a properly inscribed copy of this resolution for presentation to The Prospect-News.
