A Book Review of "Evangelistic Seeds" by Author with Doniphan Connections
“Evangelistic Seeds” by Dennis Clay Smith is a collection of personal stories and devotions with references to Scriptures that correspond to insights and lessons Smith has gleaned from his experiences..
The book is a boon to my personal devotional life because the glimpses he shares of his own journey many of us can relate to. His insights and verses for reflection have sparked my own to add relevance and applicability to my personal path.
The Table of Contents identifies the readings by title. That means one can choose a particular subject that corresponds to current circumstances if it isn’t the reader’s style to digest the meditations sequentially. The book is the exact size of my laptop so it slips easily into my computer bag. It’s the perfect boomer size – easy to hold with large print and plenty of space for personal notations. Currently, it goes where I go. It’s a respite from screens and an instant mood-lifter with its words of encouragement. Even the colorful cover depicts a universal symbol of hope.
